Do we understand the need and the cost for the sacrifice of Christ?
All in Christian Living
In the chaos, in the noise, in the regular toddler karaoke that bursts out unannounced, my heart can be at peace, and I can bring that peace into our home.
Snacking is necessary for my kids to get from one meal to next without becoming feral, and I’m starting to think the same is true for me.
The beautiful reality of the gospel is all around us if we only remember to look.
The answer is grace. God’s grace thrives in the wintery seasons of our lives.
The joy and hope of Easter are not reserved for that day alone, but are the foundations for the immeasurable grace that sustains us in every day of our lives.

When the temptation to complain threatens to overtake you, pause. Pause and look around. Put on your gospel-colored glasses and look at what God has given you.
Let us approach each day of motherhood wearing these God-glorifying attributes, ready to tackle whatever God would have us walk through.
This living sacrifice we can offer to Christ won’t look like this forever. It will change as our season of life shifts. But regardless of what season we are in, our God is worth every moment of worship we can offer and more.
While our feelings of love may fade over time or through the burdens of life, there is a perfect love that we can celebrate forever.
Cling to Christ in the chaos. Share his gospel with your littles. Worship him when it feels like you’re failing. These messy moments can glorify God if we keep our sights on him and point others his way.
The joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ is ours to enjoy every moment of every day we’ve been given.
The gospel is glorious. Take some time this week and forever (but seriously) to reflect on these passages. Let the truth of His word drive you to worship.
It isn’t pretty. It isn’t perfect. But it is completely worthwhile.
Don’t lose heart. God has not left you. He has not forsaken you. He is walking with you now and forever until that long-awaited day when we see him face to face.
Let’s worship our God, now and forever, knowing that he saw our sin and failure and lavished his mercy on us in return.
